Gulmarg is a must-see destination for everyone. Gulmarg is 60 kilometres from Srinagar, and travelling via this snow-covered route was a visual delight. If the weather cooperates, you could also view Nanga Parbat. You can have a terrific day frolicking in the snow in Gulmarg like kids.

We really appreciated the exhilarating snow sledge rides. The Gondola cables car journey up to the Khilanmarg, with its mesmerising views of the Peer Panjal Range, was also an unforgettable experience. Pahalgam is a beautiful, quiet town around 100 kilometres from Srinagar, accessible by a three-hour drive filled with breathtaking scenery. You can stop by Saffron fields and Mattan, a sacred fish temple, along the way. We also went to Awantipora, a 1100-year-old Lord Vishnu temple.
